Spaciousness Of Mind - Meditation

I want to share this beautiful and simple meditation that I found in Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche's book Spontanous Creativity:

Meditation: Spaciousness of mind

Take a comfortable position with your spine upright and your chest open. Bring your attention to the space in and around your heart.

Release any effort and rest here.

Continue to open your focus and rest in openness. When you notice your focus narrowing on a thought or an image or a sensation, open it. Without suppressing or following your thoughts, let them be.

Feel that spaciousness of being. Rest here.

Awareness is like sunlight in the open sky of your being. As you abide in open awareness, feel the natural warmth.

Rest here as long as your experience is fresh.

Dedicate the merit of your practice with the aspiration: 'In liberating my own being, may I benefit others.'
